The 447ci small-block V8 was assembled by Nelson Racing Engines and features a Dart iron block and aluminum intake manifold, a Holley 1,050-cfm carburetor, AFR cylinder heads, and a revised camshaft, and it breathes through Sanderson headers and 3″ stainless-steel piping. The Tremec T56 six-speed manual transmission is linked with a 9″ rear axle, and the car rides on a coilover suspension and 18″ two-piece American Racing wheels over Wilwood disc brakes. The cabin was refurbished with leather-trimmed bucket seats, Schroth harnesses, and a roll bar, the rear bench was removed, and appointments include Vintage Air climate control, AutoMeter instrumentation, and a Bluetooth head unit.
